The Flint Street Nativity

The Flint Street Nativity
St. Luke’s Church, 7th-9th December 2011

It’s the end of the Christmas term at the Flint Street Primary School and as happens in nearly every school up and down the country, it’s nativity season. Out come cardboard crowns, sheets and robes and the lovely carols that only children can ruin.

This hilarious play is about the politics that take place amongst the children of Flint Street Primary; the jealousies, the unrequited love, the teasing and blackmail. Through this we are given a brief glimpse into the enormous world small children inhabit, all with their own distinct personalities and the wonderful eyes through which they see their friends, families and the world around them.
