A Bedfull of Foreigners

A Bedfull of Foreigners, 2-4 December, Newcastle Arts Centre, £6 (Conc.) / £9 Adult, 7.30pm

Hotel Heinz, situated on the German border of France, is not your idyllic holiday destination. On the eve of a local festival the hotel (for once) is almost completely full, apart from one room which British holidaymakers Stanley and Brenda snap up at the last minute. However, with the arrival of pompous biscuit salesman Claude Philby and his cabaret dancing mistress, it soon becomes apparent that the room has been double booked. Before long everything has descended into chaos, no thanks to the swooning hotel manager and his drunk, blackmailing porter, Karak. With mistaken identities, flying radiators and a strip teasing nun, there never is a quiet moment at Hotel Heinz.
